Conventional Machinist

CALLING ALL CONVENTIONAL AND CNC MACHINISTS!

Description:

The machinist is responsible for ensuring that the tooling produced and repaired adhere to an established quality standard. Specific duties include setting up tooling on machinery, using machines to make repairs using cutters, speeds, feeds, tracing arms, models, templates etc as well as grinding and finish polishing skills.

-3-5 years experience running conventional lathes, mills (Hydrotel and Bridgeport) or similar

--3-5 years experience operating CNC machines comfortably

-Set up experience (change overs 1-3x/day)

-Grinding and finish polishing tools when necessary

-Must be an expert in reading blueprints/drawings

-Experienced in using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc)
