To learn more about Berry, visit berryglobal.comThe Converting Operator's primary function is to process customer orders with the highest degree of efficiency and quality in a Manufacturing envrionment.Shift Hours - M - TH 7am - 5:30pm,RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Must be able to operate and set up all slitting machines including the baloney cutter without supervision.2. Know how to check, setup and measure baloney slit rolls..3. Make sure the baloney cutter blade is sharp and properly lubricated and replace it if required.4. Know when and how to change rubber mandrel covers on baloney cutter.5. Knowledgeable on how to pack all material off small slitters and baloney cutter, as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:+ The Converting Operator should have the ability to communicate in English and preferably have a high school diploma.+ The job duration is 40 hours per week. 10+ HOUR SHIFTS+ The general physical requirements are standing and walking on concrete at least 10 hours per day. Lifting, climbing, pushing and pulling is also required.+ Protective equipment such as safety shoes are required 100% of the time, and other protective equipment is required as necessary.
