    Job Summary:

    CORE is the Raytheon Technologies continuous improvement operating system that aligns all major elements of the business and its processes so that they work together in a harmonious system. Business Units and Support Teams will transform and mature using CORE tools and methods in a series of activities and events. The CORE Manager will be working directly with the factory leadership and support teams to ensure the CORE Operating System is used to deliver results by improving business metrics and delivering to customer expectations.

    The CORE Manager will ensure that CORE systems and processes are in place, best practices are implemented, CORE culture is robust, and accountabilities are established to improve overall operational effectiveness. You will work alongside business and Operations leaders and their teams to optimize business processes and develop talent within the operating system.

    This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

    Responsibilities to Anticipate:

    • Participate in a team of CORE focals, improvement leads, and support functions.

    • Guide leaders in understanding and usage of quality and continuous improvement methodologies.

    • Coach and train team members, business leaders and employees on practical application of CORE principles.

    • Effectively communicate implementation progress of CORE ideas, principles, and systems

    • Through the rigorous use of change management disciplines, drive initiatives, processes, and CORE throughout the business and across the value stream

    • Plan, facilitate and lead VSM/Kaizen/CI events and transformation projects.

    • Liaise with the RMD CORE leader.

    • Assist the factory in aligning and executing on annual improvement targets.

    • Lead Cross-functional teams to evaluate existing business processes and ensure linkage to the company's goals and improvement targets.

    • Drive changes in behaviors by effectively influencing without authority.

    • Promote best proactive sharing for continuous improvement across all locations and departments, ensure benchmarking of best practices.

    • Facilitating the necessary events/activities to deliver value to our customers to create self-sufficiency.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of seven (7) years' experience.

    • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems

    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    • Experience leading the development of Lean practitioners or lean projects.

    • CORE certifications preferred.

    • Value Stream Management or other relevant factory experience

    • Certification in a recognized continuous improvement discipline, or 5+ years of Continuous Improvement experience preferred.

    • Experience with process improvement initiatives or efforts.

    Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

    This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.

    The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

    Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
