Responsibilities

• Measuring and weighing cosmetic ingredients accurately to meet formulation requirements.

• Blending and mixing various cosmetic ingredients to create makeup products such as foundations, lipsticks, eyeshadows, and creams like moisturizers and facial creams.

• Operating specialized equipment such as mixers, blenders, and emulsifiers to ensure proper product consistency and texture.

• Conducting quality control checks throughout the compounding process to ensure product integrity, including color matching and texture evaluation.

• Adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards to maintain product purity and prevent contamination.

• Following safety protocols and handling procedures for hazardous materials used in cosmetics manufacturing.

• Documenting all production activities and maintaining accurate batch records for traceability and quality assurance purposes.

• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and advancements in cosmetic ingredients and manufacturing techniques.

• Contributing to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for cosmetics compounding processes.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 40lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
