    Job Title: Electronic Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Electronic Assembler for a leading contract manufacturer specializing in the production of small electronic circuit boards. These are typically designed for prototype and pre-production builds across various industries. This role requires precision and a keen eye for detail as you will be hand assembling electronic components onto printed circuit boards using a soldering iron. You will be expected to read and interpret technical documents, inspect assemblies and components, and ensure all products meet the strict industry and quality guidelines. From assembling electro-mechanical devices to packing finished products for shipment, you will be involved in various aspects of the production process. Your contributions will be critical in maintaining our reputation for quality in the products we deliver to our clients.

    Hard Skills

    • Hand assembling and soldering electronic components
    • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, and specifications
    • Inspecting assemblies and components
    • Assembling electro-mechanical devices
    • Packing products for shipment
    • Surface Mount or Through Hole Operations preparation
    • Checking components against Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Defect correction per IPC and Customer Specifications
    • Measuring dimensions and clearances with micrometers, calipers, and gauges
    • Modifying/replacing components on printed circuit board assemblies
    • Maintaining industry certifications, including IPC standards Soft Skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
    • Strong communication skills
    • Willingness to review work activities with supervisors
    • Ability to handle small parts

    This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Available shifts include 1st shift from 7:00AM-3:30PM, Monday through Friday, and 2nd shift from 11:30AM-8:00PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime is mandatory at present, averaging two Saturdays per month.
