    Job Brief

    Eagle Harbor, LLC, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Explosives Machinist and Logistics Assistant

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Performs forensic examination tasks in forensic disciplines supporting the Explosives Unit (EU).

    • Manage and maintain the Lorton, Virginia, and C-Demo warehouse facilities.

    • Drive a variety of vehicles including range vehicles, routine EU vehicles, emergency response vehicles, towing large trailers, and construction equipment.

    • Assists the explosives range with a variety of tasks for the EU, other units and other FBI divisions who have utilized the range for post blast schools, EU test shots, to construct tools to disassemble explosive devices.

    • Set up, operate, and maintain all shop equipment at the C-Demo, the EU warehouse facility in Lorton, Virginia, as well as the LD in Quantico, Virginia.

    • Maintain control and know the location of all non-expendable equipment for the EU.

    • Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules to ensure machines are fully functional, and ability to troubleshoot machines, identify deficiencies, and perform corrective.

    • Set-up and operate manual milling machines to produce parts to exact blueprint specifications.

    • Design and implement work holding fixtures for milling complex three-dimensional parts, setup lathe for single point internal and external threading.

    • Work closely with examiners, SSABTS, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

    • Explosives Division by troubleshooting and developing a device measuring the performance of a

    • percussion actuated non-electric (PAN) disruptor.

    • Assist with case-related support. For example, assist with a case requiring a rocket- propelled grenade (RPG) to be fired remotely from a fixed position approximately thirty yards away, at a target approximately ten inches wide by twelve inches tall.

    • Assist in course development in instructional support to numerous schools, testing of explosives, and conducts demonstrations for FBI personnel and other liaison partners.

    • Work closely with the U.S. Secret Service Explosives Division in testing the White House protective measures.

    • Research, develop, and author whitepapers and information papers, as required.

    • Visually inspect and clean evidence and related materials; photograph evidence and related materials; prepare casts of EFPs; bag and number casts.

    Position Requirements:

    • Fully adjudicated Top Secret clearance.

    • Must have a valid driver's license.

    • Bachelor of Science degree.

    • Three years of experience in logistics services.

    • Skilled in logistics management and customer service.

    • Must be able to communicate fluently verbally and in writing, in English, at the bachelor's degree

    • level, be able to understand and execute complex verbal and written instructions in English, be able to express complex issues verbally and in writing in English.

    • Must be competent in operating an IBM-style microcomputer in Windows and/or UNiplexed

    • Information Computing System (UNIX) environments.

    • Must be able to discuss complex technical issues in English, using a telephone.

    • Must be competent with Microsoft Office products in a Windows environment and be competent with computer file management in Windows and/or UNIX environments (creating and deleting files and directories, finding, renaming, copying, and moving files, etc.).
