    Jostens has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Finishing Goods Supervisor to join our leadership team!

    This Supervisor is responsible for managing the movement, repository, and distribution of finished goods (job orders) once they have been completed the production cycle. The incumbent coordinates shipping and receiving areas, as well as distribution services to ensure work is organized and inventories are efficiently maintained throughout the warehouse (s) and finished goods area.

    This role will provide guidance and general direction to employees engaged in shipping and warehouse operations working together to support production/workflow and on time delivery to our customers. The incumbent will work closely with multiple departments and employees at all levels, to assist in the overall achievement of operational goals in safety, quality, cost, delivery, organization and positive work environment.

    They will support and partner with continuous improvement and manufacturing engineers to drive process improvement and safety goals, as needed for the department. Additionally, this position may be asked to support other areas or departments as assigned by leadership.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar, and/or equivalent experience.

    • 3-5 years minimum experience as Finished Goods or Warehouse Operations supervisor.

    • Management/Supervisory experience in a team-based environment.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members.

    • Excellent MS Office experience, in particular Excel Skills, MS Access, ERP and/or equivalent experience.

    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

    • Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational skills.

    • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

    Preferred

    • Printing experience in a Yearbook and/or Commercial environment.

    • Basic Knowledge of 5S Methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.

    • Exposure and knowledge of Continuous Improvement initiatives.

    • Forklift & Pallet Jack operation experience.
