By choice, we are committed to a diverse workforce - EOE/Protected Veteran/DisabledJob DescriptionAiding to the production process by operating a variety of machines on an as needed basis throughout the work day. Responsible for gaining and maintaining knowledge of several machines including but not limited to: Bandsaw Welding and Notching, Clamshell Sealing, Skin Packing, Blister Packing and others. You are responsible for completing the required training measures (PQ&T) as they are needed. You must have the knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments to the machine when necessary. As a Bosch Associate and as a Machine Operator, you are expected to maintain a positive work environment by following the appropriate safety procedures. You must be open and willing to work on any machine where you are needed. You must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day and also have excellent use of your hands. Required to meet production standards.+ Setting up and operating all machines in the packaging value stream+ Make adjustments to machines as needed+ Loading and replenishing materials when necessary+ Operate walk behind forklift, pallet lift, and hoist+ Unloading and reloading pallets+ Use RF Gun to pick and put away+ Use SAP to look up materials+ Reading and following standard operating procedures pertaining to each machine+ Detect and determine the appropriate quality standards and measures for each machine+ Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments and decisions according to escalation plan+ Understanding and following procedures pertaining to machine cleanliness and tool organization+ Maintaining knowledge of safety procedures associated with each machine, including but not limited to: Safety guards, emergency stops, and disconnects for lock out tag out+ Duties can and will vary according to the machine being operatedQualifications**Must be flexible and able to adapt quicklyAbility to multitaskAbility to stand for 8 hoursProper hand dexterityAbility to read and follow instructionsAbility to lift (up to) 40lb. boxesGeneral math skillsHigh School Diploma or GED from an accredited school requiredPrefer experience in machine operating
