GMP Cleaner II

Catalent Pharma Solutions in Somerset, NJ is hiring a GMP Cleaner. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean working environment that meets the standards of (GMP) Good Manufacturing Practices. This position will coordinate and perform all required daily, weekly and monthly cleanings in the manufacturing facility for rooms and critical equipment. Additional responsibilities include organizing storage areas, routine inventory of consumable items and re-stocking of supplies.

This is a full-time first shift position, 7:00AM-3:30PM Monday through Friday.

The Role:

• Completes GMP documentation including records and logbooks.

• Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the position.

• Cleaning and sanitizing the core operations equipment throughout the manufacturing facility.

• Thorough area cleaning is required in all production areas on a daily basis.

• The other functions that are performed during area and room cleaning on production floor:

• Empties waste baskets Cleaning walls, floors, table and counter tops Cleaning equipment and performing other miscellaneous duties as required Handles non-hazardous, hazardous and DEA waste Inventory verification and re-stocking of consumable items/supplies (hair nets, beard covers and shoe covers).

• Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Site Quality procedures in ensuring 100% compliance

• All other duties as assigned

The Candidate:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience working in a pharmaceutical, or food manufacturing environment (regulated by GMP standards and requirements) or relevant cleaning experience of at least two years is required. GMP experience preferred.

• Must be physically able to mop large areas.

• Ability to work in a team environment is required.

• High attention to detail is required.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
