    Job Description

    Constructs aircraft structure parts by laying-up resin infused carbon fiber in a sequence prior to processing in an autoclave as described on engineering drawings and company specifications.

    Summary of Duties

    Handling of resin infused carbon fiber and fiber glass

    Part Marking of carbon fiber material with predetermined information from Process work order

    Prepping and Placing carbon fiber kits according to paper documentation and Smarteam Documents

    Recording material information and basic math to calculate material life

    Operating a hot drape forming oven

    Ability to follow safe shop practices

    Must have sense of urgency in work performed while still maintaining quality

    Ability to stand for duration of shift excluding breaks and lunches

    Job Requirements

    Must be at least 18 years of age

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    1-3 Years of related or manufacturing production experience preferred

    Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to read blueprints

    Able to read, write and speak English at a level necessary for successful job performance

    Able to operate and understand data using Windows Operating System

    Basic math skills

    Good manual dexterity
