  • Description: Working on Navy Submarines Pearl Harbor.. Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance

    Position Summary:

    Minimum Requirements

    • Proficient use of manual lathes, mills (vertical / horizontal), drill presses, grinders, etc...

    • Proficient use of precision measurement tools (dial calipers, pit gauges, inside/outside mics, etc...)

    • Proficient understanding of reading blueprints and interpreting drawings

    • Proficient understanding in geometry / mathematics

    • Experience working in a machine shop

    • Experience working on large / small equipment and must be able to machine to extremely tight tolerances (0.0000")

    • Must be able to able to fabricate a screw from raw stock round bar

    • Must have reading / writing skills (read instructions and record measurements)

    Preferred Requirements

    • Completed an accredited machining school / program

    • CNC operational experience
