    SUMMARY

    Freeman is seeking a New Generation Lead will be responsible for assigning work within the department and monitoring until completion, maintain communication with upper management as to work status. Observe standard operating procedures for consistent quality standards. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Other responsibilities will include:

    • Meet / exceed customer expectations

    • Insure delivered furniture meets or exceeds Freeman standards

    • Audit completed work for accuracy and workmanship

    • Assign necessary work in order to complete in most efficient manner

    • Maintain a productive and safe environment for employees

    • Participate in training as appropriate to continuously upgrade skills

    • Perform employee training as necessary

    • Communicate to supervisors and managers daily activities and needs

    • Contribute to the goal of current and accurate inventory control

    • Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required

    • Monitor performance of employees within the work group

    • Manage workload planning

    • Open and/or close building as directed on any shift

    • Monitor and communicate methods of operations and safety

    • Report unsafe conditions to the Warehouse Supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected

    Minimum Requirements

    EDUCATION

    • High School Diploma or GED

    PREFERRED

    • Associates Degree

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to use small hand tools

    • Must be able understand and use basic math skills - adding subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

    • Must be able to understand and utilize proper and safe operating procedures
