Machine Operator 3rd Shift Monday To Thursday

Aerotek, Voted best in staffing is hiring for global manufacturer specializing in adhesive coated and laminated materials/films and sheets for a machine operator on both day and night shift. The pay rate on the 3rd shift schedule is $20.00-21.00 per hour (with future increases listed in posting).

Job Description:

• Will be trained by Sr. Operator on the set-up, adjustment, and quality expectations required to complete customers orders as requested.

• Assisting in loading raw material rolls onto equipment with use of the overhead crane, and ensuring to feed equipment properly.

• Monitors production process closely in order to quickly identify any quality issues. Stops production run immediately if problems are detected, and alerts machine operator II and/or production manager.

Work Environment:

• Shift Schedule: 3rd shift 6:00pm-6:00am Monday-Thursday (OT 8hrs on Friday, totaling at 56hrs in a week with OT day included!)

• The overall manufacturing floor is very well lit and organized, safety is very important and there are designated walkways throughout.

• The overall machine set-ups require over a month timeframe to learn, and are large in size but will be operated with guidance from the start.

• Additionally there are many employee incentives over the year from holiday parties to team gatherings.

Qualifications:

• 2 years' of machine operating experience

• Ability to read & write English

• Ability to follow written work instructions

• Manual set up experience
