Machine Operator

Aerotek is currently hiring for long-term manufacturing positions in Fenton! These positions are with a fantastic company with tremendous opportunity for career and compensational growth.

Job Description:

Employees will

• Set up and operate shear metal machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials

• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the precise bending requirements

• Program and adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bend and cuts

• Load materials into the machine and align them properly to ensure precise shaping

• Monitor the production process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Perform routine maintenance on machine

• Collaborate with the production team to prioritize and schedule work orders

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and production issues

• Keep accurate records of production data and work performed

• Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Shifts Available - Overtime Available on Fridays and on weekends

5:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday

4:30pm - 1:00am, Monday - Thursday

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
