Machinist

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Machinistto join a leading Company located in theBaltimore, MD surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities:

• Worked in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop, responsible for making one-off, precision details.

• Primarily, be responsible for operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines, which includes reviewing N/C code, setting up tooling, and performing all machining operations.

• Must also be able to operate a manual vertical mill, brake press, bandsaw, and basic shop tools.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Equivalent of (4) years high school plus (4) years trades training.

• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, understand GD&T, and follow manufacturing process plans.

• Machine variety of materials - plastics/ composites/ aluminum/ carbon steel/ stainless steel/ titanium/ Inconel.

• Review N/C programming code and provide feedback to programmer if modifications are required.

• Independently setup tooling and prepare workpiece per provided requirements.
