Are you a skilled Machinist looking for a dynamic work environment where your expertise is valued? We are seeking an experienced Machinist to set up and operate machining tools, ensuring the production of high-quality precision parts and instruments. Pay: $30-40 per hour, based on experience

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machinist.

• Proficiency in using machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.

• Ability to use measuring tools including scales, micrometers, and calipers.

• Knowledge of metal properties and material characteristics.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematical knowledge and precision instruments.

• Machine parts to specifications using lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other tools.

• Inspect completed units for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

• Set up, adjust, and operate various machine tools.

• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials.

• Monitor machine feed and speed during the machining process.

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine fabrication methods and sequences of operations.

• Maintain industrial machines and equipment, ensuring optimal performance.

• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on machines and tools.

• Disassemble machines for inspection and repair, replacing defective parts as needed.

• Fit and assemble parts to make or repair machine tools.
