This position will work within teams to troubleshoot production issues and provide preventative maintenance to equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Following health and safety rules
• Wear personal protective equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (Air Compressor, Rolling Stock, Production Machinery, HVAC)
• Able to troubleshoot machinery utilizing schematics
• Perform timely repairs on hand tools (e.g. drills, saws)
• Communicate needs with purchasing department proactively
• Repair/rebuild welding leads
• Use knowledge to perform maintenance during production when there is an issue
• Practice proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures if applicable
• Fill Loctite cartridges for skins
• Store tools and materials in proper locations when not in use
• Maintain clean and safe work area

Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Use various power and hand tools, experience preferred
• Read and use a tape measure
• Willingness to cross-train between departments
• Read and follow work instructions
• Able to work 40 - 60 hours a week. Schedule is 7am - 5:30pm with a half hour lunch, Monday - Friday
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Good attendance is required

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
• Must be able to move up to 75 pounds at times.
