    The incumbent is responsible to contribute to the success of the company by ensuring operations equipment are in good operating conditions and capable of producing good quality products by directly, or thru subordinates, performing duties listed under "Essential Duties and Responsibilities" section. Ensures full compliance with the company's policies and objectives in all matters related to the Site Maintenance system.

    The position also plans, leads and executes Integra Puerto Rico Sites strategic and business continuity plans through equipment maintenance and capital initiatives, including design, realization, validation and projects management when needed.

    This position maintains Integra Puerto Rico facilities process equipment while meeting all regulatory requirements of a Maintenance System.

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

    Accountable for the development and implementation of maintenance strategies assuring efficient operations at the Añasco site.

    Accountable for CMMS, production equipment maintenance and assets management.

    Manage all maintenance services with a culture of Maintenance Excellence and Continuous Improvement structures.

    Develop area KPI's to drive value within the team execution; higher "wrench time" lower "waiting time" with direct influence into site productivity.

    Strong compliance mindset to meet GMP and other world standards applicable to a medical device operation.

    Capable to participate in regulatory audits as SME and always keep areas of responsibility ready for internal or external audits.

    Manages and executes process equipment and maintenance system NCR's and CAPA investigations.

    Develops or supports the development of production equipment and maintenance budged (Spending and Capital) Oversees plant and facility projects and all facility maintenance, including tool and die repairs.

    Identify, justify, and direct the implementation of continuous improvement projects to ensure their success in manufacturing equipment.

    Participate and ensure safe operating conditions exists throughout the entire facilities. Promptly correct any unsafe conditions.

    Coordinates and implements installation, maintenance, and repair programs for new equipment or machinery.

    Assures / supports compliance in the areas of Preventive Maintenance.

    Maintains optimum level of spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime.

    Develops and implements projects/programs that strive to achieve cost reductions and improve operating conditions.

    Monitors department compliance to OSHA and company's safety policy and procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Electrical, Industrial or Mechanical

    • Minimum of five years of experience on a Managerial/Supervisory role. Proven leadership and management skills

    • Knowledge of FDA, ISO, OSHA, EPA and Federal and Local regulations.

    • Problem solving and communication skills

    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Demonstrated ability to integrate information to build and implement solutions to organizational problems

    • Lean Six Sigma and Process Excellence training/certification is a plus

    • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
