Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Director or Manager of Facilities Management, or designee, performs daily functions to support the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing physical plant, and maintain a safe environment of care for patients, visitors, and staff. Performs additional tasks/activities as determined, and assigned, by either the Director or Manager of Facilities Management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Vocational training with a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital/high-rise plant operations required; Associate's degree in related field, preferred.

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems. Ability to use hand tools, ladders, and power tools. Good mechanical aptitude.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

• Valid Texas Driver's License and clear driving record required.

• Professional certification in Electrical Maintenance, HVAC and/or Plumbing
