As the Production Manager Trainee for an Assembly function, you will hold an important succession planning role in the Hagerstown Plant Organization. You will report directly to a second line managerial level referred to as an Assembly Area Manager.

Main activities and responsibilities for these roles for 6-12 months:

• Experience rotations in multiple departments

• Shadow and support experienced production leaders

• Be challenged with continuous improvement projects

• Understand the collective bargaining agreements (CBA) and collaborate with union officials

• Bring fresh perspective and change management mindset

We are looking for a goal-oriented leader with a strong drive to deliver and have the ability to continually develop and improve the organization and its employees. Excellent communication skills including working with cross functional teams are essential to be able to build networks and create trusting relationships. You believe in building a knowledge based organization with a strong teamwork as a foundation.

The ideal candidate for this position has a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and least 1-3 years' experience in leadership. Manufacturing environment is preferred.
