    A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team in the Aurora, IL area. Responsibilities may include:

    Execute standard work with support from others on complex tasks.

    Operate and inspect value stream workstation output.

    Operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work.

    Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications.

    Execute standard work with an acceptable degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement.

    Execute standard work efficiently on simple tasks with support from others on complex tasks.

    Identify problems in execution of standard work and request help from others on resolution

    Skills and Requirements

    - 1+ year as a manual machinist operating a drill press, bandsaw and beveling machines

    - Must be able to work 10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday from 2pm-10pm and be available to work Saturdays.

    - Ability to read blueprints

    - Calibration experience

    - Basic math skills (add/subtract)

    - Able to work on their feet 10 hours a day and lift up to 25lbs.

    - Able to read measurements and metrics null
