We are currently seeking a Manual Machinist II in the US to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment in the Aftermarket CPI business. In this role you will be responsible for working on compressor repair parts.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be...

• Must be self-motivated and open minded to lean our machining and safety proceduresEfficiently, carefully, and accurately sets-up and operates manual mills and lathes and has lengthy experience using a horizontal boring mill on a wide variety of diversified workLays out work and produce quality partsDeciphers sketches, blueprints, and engineering detailsProvides assistance in establishing set up and layout methods, order of operations, and application of required parts and materialsCarries a job through from raw materials to the finished products from drawings, sketches, samples or verbal instruction.Sharpens, reworks, resets and repairs cutting toolsInspects and checks parts being producedMaintains accurate production records and job historyPerforms minor machine maintenance activities. Assists in setting up complex machines and stacking, marking, packing and transporting of finished products. Works at different work stations as per production requirements.Keeps a clean and orderly work areaPerforms any other assigned duty as directed by management.Some local travel may be required

Your Education Should Be...

High School Diploma or general education degree

Your Professional Experience Should Be...

3+ years of machining experience preferred

Has an extensive knowledge of machine uses and manufacturing materials

Has an advanced knowledge of shop mathematics

Reciprocating Compressor experience a definite plus- but not required
