Start herePostion SummaryCatalent is looking to hire an Operations Planner to join our growing team in Bloomington, ~~~ Operations Planner's primary role is to, in collaboration with operations, technical services, project management, and business development, create process orders with accurate estimates of material requests and timing, and to allocate materials to orders to ensure material delivery in advance of ~~~ alignment with Catalent's Patient First philosophy, this role is key to ensure the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes which will yield safe drug products for patients.The Role+ Assists in the inputs and outputs required to complete orders identified on the master production schedule and to communicate any schedule changes to the operations team+ Enters identified demand into JD Edwards (JDE) as either planned or approved orders within the time fences established+ Assists Technical Services in the design of product Bill of Materials+ Coordinates with purchasing to ensure that vendor lead times and QC release times are accurately identified in JDE for raw materials+ Proactively communicates with purchasing to ensure raw materials ordered by the MRP process arrive within timeline, and to assist in the prioritization of materials through incoming quality control and releaseThe Candidate + High School/GED+ Bachelor's degree preferred+ 2-5 years of experience Scheduling and planning in a manufacturing setting+ Pharma experience preferredSuccessful candidates will possess Catalent's standard leadership competencies that are used to interview and for Performance & Development: + Leads with Integrity and Respect+ Delivers Results+ Demonstrates Business Acumen+ Fosters Collaboration and Teamwork+ Champions Change+ Engages and Inspires+ Coaches and DevelopsPosition Benefits+ Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K are all offered from day one of employment+ 19 days of paid time off annually+ Potential for career growth within an expanding team+ Defined career path and annual performance review and feedback process Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
