    Job Description

    As an Operator 1, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high industry standards by producing quality products for our customers. Your responsibilities will include receiving raw materials, partnering with the QC team to test materials/products, blending high volume cellulose powder, packaging finished goods, and maintaining and enhancing a safe, productive, and quality-driven atmosphere. You will also be expected to carry out equipment maintenance, identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities, and perform other general tasks as guided by management.

    Hard Skills

    • Machine operation

    • Mixing high volume cellulose powder

    • Monitoring manufacturing processes

    • Equipment maintenance

    • Shutdown and internal cleaning of process equipment

    • Continuous monitoring of equipment and instrumentation

    Job Type

    This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

    Work Site

    This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.

    Work Environment

    You will be working on a 2-2-3 schedule, either day shift (6am-6:30pm) or night shift (6pm-6:30am). The manufacturing environment is temperature-controlled, with most of your interaction within a team of 4. You will receive job responsibilities from the shift supervisor. The company culture is very strong, often hanging out together but with a work-first mentality. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
