Polisher/Finisher

Adecco Permanent Recruitment team is assisting a large manufacturing company in Middlesex county, Connecticut. We are looking for experienced Polisher/ Finishers. This is a full time direct hire (Permanent) job opportunity. If interested please APPLY now!

Position Title: Polisher/ Finisher

Pay Rate Range: $18/hr. - $27/hr. depending on experience

Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

2nd shift ( 4:30 pm- 12:30 am)

Location: Portland, CT

Responsibilities Include:

• Hand belt grinding various airfoil shapes to their finish contour and dimension.

• Deburring parts

• Finishing operations including sizing and finishing platform radii and platform surfaces, radius chords, polishing operation and breaking sharp edges as required.

• Inspection of airfoil contour, location, twist, t-max edges dimensions and platform dimensions as required.

• Working on parts that have closer tolerances and more complex shape and qualifies new airfoil setups.

• Determines proper belting and polishing procedures for new part number.

Experience:

• 1+ yrs. experience in Hand finishing/polishing/deburring

• Strong understanding of GD&T

• Skilled with inspection of close tolerances and complex shaped parts

• Experience working with airfoils or aerospace parts is desired

Qualifications Include:

• Must be able to: lift over 30 pounds

• Must be able to operate, activate, and use manufacturing/productivity machinery.

• Must be accurate, detailed oriented, and quality conscious
