Job Title: Site Manager-- Georgetown, SC
Job Summary:
MOR PPM, seeks a Site Manager/Leader for an on-going job site in Georgetown, SC. This is a full-time position with paid time off, company truck/fuel card. The leader must have a balance of technical knowledge of industrial plants with strong technical skills and the ability to lead, inspire and develop the workforce.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Proven ability to run a large-scale project with outstanding Workplace Safety Performance
Proven success record of managing all levels of employees in an industrial environment
Demonstrated broad experience in multiple disciplines; Mechanical, Civil, Welding/Pipefitting, Rigging, Insulation and Scaffolding
Demonstrated experience coordinating manpower, budgeting and P/L
Demonstrated ability to schedule projects planning to completion and setting goals/responsibilities for project completion
Successful track record keeping project within budget,
Ability to effectively communicate across a broad audience, including employees, contractors and plant management
Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees
Verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments work techniques
Reinforce continuous improvement processes to gain efficiencies.
Understand the full cycle of managing a contract including billing, materials, manpower, training and meeting the customers needs
Experience:
Five-years' experience working in an industrial environment
Three years' experience in supervising General Foreman and below roles
Preferred three years' experience in a Superintendent role
Combination of degree and experience will be considered
Qualifications & Skills:
Obtain OSHA 10/30 card
Be proficient in utilizing spreadsheets with formulas, use of O365, knowledge of project planning
Understand change management and strategically plan for growth and increased performance
Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
Must have full range of motion consistent with age
Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
