  • Description: This position is a Product Lead role supporting our

    development and transition to production efforts in

    Chelmsford, MA. The Product Lead role will be

    responsible for one of our Advanced Programs product

    lines and provides direction, coordination,

    communication, and leadership to cross-functional

    teams to ensure the site meets/exceeds quality, cost,

    and schedule business objectives. The incumbent will

    lead and facilitate a cross functional team, foster

    teamwork, and direct teams with respect to product

    planning, problem resolution and process

    improvement and other processes in a team-based

    manufacturing environment. Understands and

    performs a variety of cross-functional operations

    including IMS task management, earned value

    management, CAM, use of SAP/MRP systems, quality

    management systems, manufacturing/process

    engineering, and material/manpower management.

    Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more

    areas of program operations. The incumbent monitors,

    reports, and provides performance status and

    progress to team.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a

    related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined

    education, with at least 3 years of professional

    experience.

    • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,

    strong presentation skills

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Team lead or project lead experience in cross functional production environment

    Desired Skills:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college with at least 5 years of professional

    experience.

    • Production Supervisor experience, IPT Experience,

    or Program Operations experience.

    • Experience with IMS and EVM

    • CAM experience

    • LSS Greenbelt Certified

    • PMT Lead Experience

    • Knowledge or experience in continuous

    improvement and cost reduction and affordability

    • Self-Starter Personality; Ability to multitask

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
