Production Assembly

Description:

Work for an industry leading manufacturer with the most advanced production line of heavy-duty transit busses. Also starting this year, will be the only producer in the country to make electrical style transit busses with tons of room for up-side.

Starting pay is at 23.49 - 24.59 depending on shift!

Shift times are: First shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Second Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm

In this position, Assemblers are responsible for assembling and installing different components, accessories, seats, mod boxes, etc. Assembly of the busses would be done through reading work orders, blue prints, and schematics.

To be successful in this position, this Assembler will be:

• Have basic measurement and math skills/understanding.

• Be able to work independently or as part of a team. Both require basic time management skills.

• Use hand and power tools throughout the day while being able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift to complete assemblies and installations.

• Adhere to and support safety and quality goals and initiatives as set forth by leadership.

• Ability to use small hand and power tools repetitively, as well as measuring equipment and tools.

• Be capable to learn new skills and apply them regularly.
