The Production Manager will lead a team of 3-5 production staff, covering all aspects of QTPod inventory, manufacturing, and shipping and as well as ensuring quality control and continued improvement of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages day to day activities and workflow of the production team, comprised of 3-5 employees, to ensure we are on target to meet our production goals.

• Manages inventory levels of components to ensure adequate supply to meet sales and budget targets.

• Collaborates with accounting manager to ensure financial implications of inventory count are reconciled.

• Continuously works with vendors to ensure timely delivery of components that are of high quality at competitively negotiated prices.

• Works with vendors to ensure QTPod has back-up suppliers for any key components used in its products.

• Develop and continually refine a documented, structured, and efficient production process which provides visibility into the process at any point in the manufacturing process to assess if we are ahead of, behind or on schedule.

• Ensure that all safety standards as well as manufacturing best-practices are followed in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

• Manages shipping department to ensure quality, consistency at competitively negotiated shipping rates from carriers.

• Responsible for receiving materials into our systems and keeping accurate counts of inventory. This includes creating item builds in response to sales orders.

• Oversees bi-yearly spot inventory counts.

• Maintains component parts list and pricing as well as documentation of serial numbers into our systems.

• Manages QTPod product UL certification in addition to any modifications to listing report.

• Coordinates with the Tech Support Manager and General Manager on implementing product improvement initiatives.

Financial Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for ordering all QTPod Inventory valued up to 1 million USD.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Experience:

• 5 Years

Minimum Education (including degrees, certificates, licenses, registrations):

• High School or Associates Degree

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

• 5 years managing a manufacturing department.

• Sound knowledge of the technology utilized in our product including some or all of the following: Microsoft 10 OS, electronic circuitry, electrical wiring, cellular modem technology and/or fuel dispensers.

• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel and Power Point.

• Strong interpersonal skills to include confidence during negotiation.

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel. The pay range for this position is $107k to $125k / Annually
