Production MIG Welder

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently seeking experienced MIG Welders for an in-house fabrication project with high KPI production metrics in place. The ideal candidate will have the ability to make an immediate impact by producing quality and quantity welds. This position involves MIG welding of bump feeders, corral gates and panels, livestock holdings, and other components using steel metals, including thinner metals such as aluminum.

The pay rate for this job is $28 - $3O / hour

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding of various components, including bump feeders, corral gates, and livestock holdings, meeting high production expectations.

• Work with steel metals and thinner materials, ensuring clean and accurate welds.

• Maintain a quick, accurate, and clean production speed to meet daily quotas.

• Attend a mandatory paid safety orientation prior to starting work.

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure project deadlines are met.

 Qualifications:

• Previous experience in MIG welding, preferably in a high-volume production environment.

• Ability to weld aluminum and other thinner metals with precision and cleanliness.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production expectations.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Must have own basic welding tools and personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Valid certifications or qualifications in MIG welding preferred.
