Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Perform moisture and screen testing of coal ash to ensure material meets contractual specification. Based on testing, release material to be delivered to facility operations or reject by to supplier.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Sample and analyse stockpiles of coal ash as prepared by excavating contractor

• Record and report testing data to client and operations

• Support operations by recording and reporting daily productivity

• Support project management in daily, weekly, monthly report development

• Provides backup responsibilities to the Rail Coordinator

• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Education: Associate's degree or 5 years equivalent experience

Additional Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Field of Study Preferred: Science; Mathematics

Required Work Experience: 1-3 years

Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic Computer Knowledge; SAP; Microsoft Office

Travel Requirements: Minimal

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent spreadsheet skills

• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
