This is a fully on-site position in POMPANO BEACH, Florida.

Job Description

As a Quality Control Inspector, our primary role will include performing first, final, and in-process inspections and gauge calibrations in a metal finishing/job shop environment. You'll be required to examine plated aerospace parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges and perform hardness, plating, and dimensional testing. Another crucial part of your role will be comparing plated/painted parts with templates to ensure proper masking has been applied. You will also visually examine and measure flight-critical parts to assess repair probability. The role also includes examining the alignment of parts and measuring them for conformance to specified dimensions, and completing a Certificate of Analysis. Lastly, you will also inspect plated areas for uniformity and thickness and perform 1st article inspection of sub-assemblies and assemblies. Additionally, you'll be tasked with examining parts for surface defects such as corrosion, chips, scratches, and pinholes.

Work Environment

This job will require you to work in a production floor environment which does not have air conditioning. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm.
