We are seeking a 2nd shift quality inspector for an opening in the Farmington area. This is a permanent position offering full time hours, comeptitive pay and benefits. All qualified candidates must have experience measuring and inspecting/matching colors, have excellent attention to detail and be able to commit to the scheduled hours. work hours: 2 PM - 11 PM

Responsibilities

Quality Inspector/ Team Lead:

Will be inspecting incoming products and materials for defects

Will have to sort and match colors for customer orders

Using a spectrophotometer to measure color on resins

Proficient with math (fractions, decimals, converting metrics to the correct unit etc.)

Ensuring customer orders are accurate and completed in a timely fashion

Delegating work within the department to ensure production goals are met

Working in team of 3-6 individuals in QC lab

Requirements

Must have excellent attention to detail

Color matching experience - in manufacturing setting or similar

Using color measuring tools

Must be able to complete/pass vision test

Plastics manufacturing experience preferred.

This is a second shift position - training on 1st shift will be required for the first few months. Will be flexible on training hours.

The essential functions of this role include

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
