Quality Inspector

Description:

• Inspect and test parts/products at receiving, in-process and final inspection points. Document results as defined by the Quality Management System (QMS).

• Use calibrated hand tools for operational area inspections.

• Job requires ability to understand and interpret drawings and specifications with an understanding of GD&T.

• CMM experience helpful but not required.

• Prior Experience: Prior experience with close tolerance machining and/or inspection in an ISO certified manufacturing environment.

• Hands on experience with calipers, micrometers, scales and knowledge of GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

? Basic understanding and use of test equipment and gauging to include but not limited to (CMM, roundtest, profile tester, roughness tester, microscope, hardness tester, dial indicator, caliper, micrometers, Microvickers, height gauge, spectrometer and X-ray).

? Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
