    The Quality Manager work with engineering teams, external suppliers, purchasing, and the vehicle customer while exhibiting a professional and cooperative attitude. The primary mission of the Quality Manager is to support the launch and approval of supplied parts for new and existing products. Quality Manager will work directly with supplier, engineering and purchasing teams to assess conformance of product, supplier capability and technical ability, communicate and resolve issues with suppliers, and assess and guide suppliers through new product/part launches.

    YOUR IMPACT

    • Support housekeeping and safety.

    • Manage receiving inspection, warehousing and nonconforming material personnel and processes.

    • Review PPAP and CFAT documentation; approve supplier documents or provide feedback and coaching to correct discrepancies or gaps.

    • Develop PPAP requirements and interface with suppliers and purchasing team.

    • Supplier Development: coach and develop suppliers through voice calls and meetings. Answer technical questions on quality and testing requirements, documentation, etc.

    • Assign Supplier Corrective Action Requests and guide supplier team through corrective action process for assembly process and customer failures.

    • Audit new and existing suppliers to OSK, IATF, and ISO standards. Propose corrective actions and opportunities for improvement. Follow up on open corrective actions and guide supplier improvement.

    • Facilitate reviews with OSK engineering and supplier teams to review drawing and technical requirements.

    • Manage, coach and develop 1-5 advanced quality engineer/inspector direct reports.

    • Review supplier change requests (RCM) and verify appropriate quality requirements are met.

    • Support cross functional process and product improvement teams.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree

    • 5 plus years of related work experience

    • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings including characteristics such as views, title blocks, dimensioning, GD&T symbols, etc. Interpret specification requirements in relation to product and process characteristics

    • Comprehension and experience with specific automotive industry manufacturing processes.

    • AIAG APQP/PPAP and 8D problem solving tools.

    • Project Management Experience
