    Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Quality Supervisor to join the team at our Houston, TX manufacturing site.

Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business manufactures over 100,000 products for NEC and IEC applications, including: conduit fittings and cable glands, industrial control and electrical apparatus, enclosures, industrial luminaires (including LED), plugs and receptacles, drilling and marine products, commercial construction, and solar solutions. The Houston, TX site is the home of a variety of family products all explosion-proof, with a focus on LED lighting fixtures and control panels. With 50 employees onsite, this plant is an excellent stepping stone into the organization, as it places a high value on talented professionals who are focused on problem solving and efficiency and looking to grow within the plant and Eaton as a whole.

    The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

    What you'll do:

    As Quality Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management Systems at the site, while leading a small team of hourly direct reports. You will also drive Continuous Improvement initiatives through the implementation and utilization of Lean Six Sigma tools. Day-to-day activities include:

    • Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) - Manage in compliance with international quality and industry standards including ISO9001, ATEX, IECEx, INMETRO, ABS, UL, CSA, ETL, etc. Maintain, upgrade, and control quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. Lead process system development projects.

    • Audits - Serve as point of contact between plant and 3rd party auditors, coordinating and execution of audit. Develop Internal Audit Schedule and complete audits per plan.

    • Continuous Improvement - Lead projects that focus on process improvements, capital investments, cost saving, machine optimizations, engineering modifications to impact efficiency favorably. Lead Eaton Lean Six Sigma scorecard commitments. (5S, LSW, Standard Work, Gemba, etc.)

    • New Products - Execute new product process development projects at the site level. Support New product launch and ensure conformance via Prolaunch process.

    • Quality Monitoring - Manage Quality notifications. Respond to internal and external nonconformance, including containment, effective root causing, preventive/corrective actions and internal/external supplier communication. Develop and track KPIs to assess performance gaps.

    The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and will build relationships throughout the organization. A strong background in ISO 9000-2015 system requirements, Lean Six Sigma and Quality tools, paired with problem solving skills are essential to this role. Interpersonal skills are integral to developing a team and working cross-functionally with teams at various levels of the business. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

    • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a manufacturing environment supporting operational processes

    • Must be able to work legally in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or within the future.

    • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Pearland, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering,

    • Previous experience in manufacturing process design and development

    • Certification by the American Society for Quality as Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer
