    Description:

    • Looking for two Quality Lab Techs

    • This person is responsible for verifying incoming parts (steel) and determining the quality to match customer specs.

    • They will be doing numerous steps to ensure the steel matches client expectations, all will be trained: operate cutting wheel to get appropriate test sample size, operating a mounting press, sanding, etching, polishing, using basic microscopes, hardness tester (Rockwell, micro-hardness, brinnel, MT-90) performing hardness tests and other inspections like flatness, straightness, run-out, drill test, surface conditions for rust, decarb, dirty contamination, cleanliness of parts.

    • Then engrave and store tested parts in monthly intervals, fill out appropriate paperwork and tags, general housekeeping and forklift driving could be necessary.
