  • Reliability Superintendent

    Job Overview: We are actively searching for a Reliability Superintendent to be based at either our Magna, UT. This person will collaborate with the Regional Reliability team to accomplish strategic reliability goals. The primary role of the Reliability Superintendent is to ensure the safe and reliable operation of production facilities, managing the lowest possible life cycle cost.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Schedule and assign emergency and outage work to Reliability Center Specialists.

    • Oversee and ensure the safety, quality, and productivity of work carried out by specialists.

    • Optimize the execution of the outage planning process.

    • Provide technical expertise and make decisions in consultation with engineering resources.

    • Coach and mentor specialists to promote their development and ensure high performance.

    • Coordinate the procurement of parts and resources for Reliability Center activities.

    • Maximize the utilization of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems by specialists, ensuring data integrity and accurate cost capture.

    • Manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), project, and Corrective Maintenance (CM) activities to ensure they are completed on time.

    • Advocate for proactive maintenance and PM/PdM programs.

    • Address high-impact issues promptly and with integrity.

    This role requires a blend of office and field work, accessibility during off-hours, and up to 50% domestic travel. Candidates must be prepared to work in various weather conditions and access elevated electrical and mechanical equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets.

    Qualifications: Required Qualifications:

    • A degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of industrial reliability/maintenance experience, or a minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial reliability/maintenance.

    • At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing industrial reliability/maintenance personnel.

    • Extensive experience with compressors, turbines, high-speed rotating equipment, motors, electrical distribution systems, and substations.

    • Demonstrated expertise in the installation, troubleshooting, rebuilds, and repairs of industrial systems and equipment.

    • Thorough knowledge of Preventive and Predictive maintenance of industrial systems and equipment.

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively with teams.

    • Capability to work independently and lead projects, managing multiple tasks effectively under cost and time pressures.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.

    • Familiarity with regulatory and industrial standards and codes.

    • Experience in using CMMS systems such as Infor EAM.
