    Job Summary

    The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating sewing machines to manufacture various textile products, such as clothing, bags, or accessories. They work with a variety of fabrics and materials, following patterns and specifications to create finished products. Additionally, they may perform quality checks to ensure that each item meets standards for accuracy and durability.

    We are seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that raw materials meet quality standards before use, operate sewing machines safely and efficiently, complete orders on time, and accurately follow specifications.

    Job Information

    Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4pm

    Salary range (depending upon experience) Between $16 - $20/hour

    Essential Functions

    • Understand and follow all company safety policies and procedures, using necessary safety equipment. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.

    • Comply with the company's Quality Management System and with product specifications.

    • Operate sewing machine properly. Meet or exceed daily production standards. Recommend improvements to enhance product quality.

    • Assist in training others as needed. Check for quality and uniformity of products.

    • Perform other tasks assigned by management.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED. Preferably 1 year of commercial sewing experience.     Pay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hour
