    The Sheet Metal Assembler II position for Pall Aeropower Corporation is responsible for producing all components and custom fabrications from raw sheet metal using industry standard equipment such as punch presses, brake machines, shears, and deburring / grinding wheels to blueprint and work instruction specifications.

    This position is part of the Sheet Metal department and will be located in New Port Richey, FL. Our mission is to solve our customers' biggest filtration, separation, and purification challenges. And, in doing so, advance health, safety and environmentally responsible technologies.

    First Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Overtime is routine)

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Build complex aircraft parts and structural components to blueprint and work instructions using various hand and power tools.

    • Operate punch press and brake press. Understand and use measuring equipment.

    • Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers.

    The essential requirements of the job include

    • High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED) plus five (5) years of practical experience with procedures, practices, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment used in constructing, maintaining or altering airframes.

    • Minimum two (2) years of experience operating a CNC punch press and or CNC press brake. Understand and use measuring equipment such as calipers and height gage.

    • Sheet metal assembly experience. Ability to form and shape parts to a mold using a bladder press. Ability to perform the following: drilling, reaming, installing fasteners, and assembling metal parts. - Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

    • Utilizing computer/computer applications to access work instructions.

    • One year of sheet metal fabrication experience on precision sheet metal parts.

    Other requirements

    • This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
