Job Description

Are you ready to dive into the world of aerospace welding? As a TIG Welder, you'll be at the forefront of crafting aircraft component parts with precision and finesse. From .015 to .120 thickness, you'll be tasked with creating masterpieces that take flight.

Responsibilities

• Execute TIG welding operations on aircraft components, meeting NDT specifications and production schedules.

• Conduct TIG welding on titanium, aluminum, stainless steel, and Nickel alloy parts with standardized procedures.

• Collaborate with Engineering on program development and new methods for product improvement.

• Contribute ideas for new tooling.

• Inspect welds for compliance and adjust as necessary.

• Blend, grind, or polish welds to meet requirements.

• Use precision tools for measuring and ensuring dimensional accuracy.

• Complete production paperwork and perform equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an aerospace environment

• Proficient in passing welding tests for aircraft welding certifications

• Strong mathematical skills

• Knowledge and practical experience in aerospace environments

• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new trades or skills are valued.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
