As a TIG Welder (also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welder, Welding Technician), you will be responsible for welding and fabricating details and duct assemblies to precise tolerances. You will ensure the conformance of finished parts to drawings and specifications, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and participate in continuous process improvement.

Relocation is offered for this position

Position Criteria & Qualitifcations

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Gas Tungsten Arc welding on Inconel and/or Stainless with thickness ranging from .020 to .125; or completion of welding degree/certification.

• Proficiency in GD&T, Machine Safety Inspections, Blueprint Reading, and Welding Setups for Production.

• Experience with band saw, belt sander, chop saw, rotary tools/grinders and handheld inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, pi tape, loops, etc.)

• Visual inspection skills are required.

• Authorized to work in US without sponsorship.

• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person

Responsibilities

You will ensure the conformance of finished parts to drawings and specifications, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and participate in continuous process improvement.

The essential functions of this role include

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Tig (3 years of experience is preferred)

• AWS Certification (1 year of experience is required)

• welding (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Blueprint Reading (3 years of experience is preferred)

• machine safety inspection (1 year of experience is required)

• math skills (3 years of experience is preferred)
