We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool and Mold Maker to join our team in Opa Locka, FL. Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate tools, molds, and dies.

• Plan sequence of operations based on blueprints for parts, mold design, and die design.

• Operate a variety of tool room equipment proficiently, including manual surface grinders, mills, lathes, and CNC equipment.

• Use precision measurement instruments and reading measuring/testing tools to ensure accuracy and quality of components.

• Set up and operate metalworking machinery to produce mold and die components.

• Perform mold maintenance tasks, repairs, troubleshooting, and conduct necessary maintenance as required.

• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to optimize tool designs and manufacturing processes.

• Polish, finish grind, and assemble molds and dies, ensuring conformance to blueprint specifications.

• Conduct thorough tests and inspections to verify functionality and performance of molds and tools.

The essential functions of this role include

• standing for 8 hours at one time
