    Job Description

    Machine various components to print specification including sourcing of materials, developing machining processes, creating CNC programs and providing measurement results.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent

    • Tool-making apprenticeship completion or 5+ years toolmaking machining experience required.

    • Journeyman status highly desired

    • Computer aided machining a plus

    • Minimum four years of experience in precision machining, including turning, milling, ID (Internal Diameter), OD (Outer Diameter) & surface grinding, writing CNC programs

    • Must be able to communicate effectively with supervision and other personnel with the ability to create clear technical instructions

    • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)

    • Must be able to function in a noisy and fast paced environment

    • Demonstrates self-initiative

    • Expert in various measurement tools, ID, OD and depth micrometers, height gage, manual CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine),

    • Expert in prints including geometric dimensions

    • Working knowledge in materials, tools steels, aluminum and stainless steels

    • Experience in material heat treating including tempering.

    • Must demonstrate mechanical proficiency, leadership ability, and teamwork

    • Must be willing to work on alternate shifts and must demonstrate the ability to adapt to changes

    • Must be flexible to work other shifts for training, coaching, projects and travel as needed
