Welder Shop Helper 20hr-22hr

Description:

Entry Level metal role in a bar grating fab shop. On a day-to-day basis they will be measuring and cutting bar grating used for industrial catwalks and stair units. Candidates must be able to read a tape measure.

The shop is medium sized and specializes in bar grating cutting/welding. They supply industrial grating for catwalks and stair units.

Mon-Fri: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must have experience in an industrial environment and some experience or education in metal fabrication.

Must know how to operate a torch to cut materials

Must be confident in using a tape measure

Best vs. Avg:

-Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus

-Bar grating industry experience

-Blueprint reading
