Graphic Packaging finalizes $6B partnership

Graphic Packaging Holding Company (NYSE: GPK) has completed its major acquisition of International Paper's (NYSE: IP) North America Consumer Packaging business. Graphic Packaging said Tuesday it now owns 79.5 percent (309,715,624 Common Units) of the combined company and will be the sole manager; International Paper will own 20.5 percent (79,911,591), equivalent to a $1.14 billion value.
