  • Description:

    • Performs basic CNC functions for machining metal aircraft components.

    ?Daily responsibilities to include:

    • Read blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files.

    • Set up and operate manual, automatic, and/or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.

    • Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces.

    • Monitor the feed and speed of machines.

    • Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind machine parts to specifications.

    • Measure, examine, and test completed products for defects.

    • Work with engineering on modification of repairs or new repairs.

    • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

    Skills:

    • Mechanical, Mechanical assembly, Blueprint, Aviation assembly, Power tool.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of experience.

    • Looking for a CNC operator with manual machining. experience (sort of a hybrid role).

    • You will NOT be programming, just operating.

    • Train on first shift 6am-3pm (for at least 3 months), work on second shift 2:30pm-11pm.

    • Would be paid out the second shift differential while they are training on first shift.

    Experience Level:

    • Intermediate
